It’s May, but last week the weather was so chilly and nights freezing you would not say it is. Thus Saturday was a surprise, sunny nice weather was jut calling at me to breathe the fresh air in the forests. We took about 3hr tour at Manínska Tiesňava. It surprises me every time I go hiking how incredible the nature can be. I would add my pedometer steps, but it cleared in the middle of the track and thus I do not have correct update, my condition is getting better, regular workouts are not the main reason yet but help, rather my will is ready to be stronger and determined to take the very best of me. The same way how the nature is taking the very best from earth.

London March 2010- Details Pics II.

on:I like to take pictures in details. Any details. I think even ordinary things have their extraordinary views, one just have to take a different point of view. When you are looking very close at things you can discover their inner essence, and the same way you can look at people. This set from London is full of details just the way they speak to me. My pictures may not be perfect, but it is the London mood that was talking to me. Enjoy.

on:I love to travel. London is one of the places I like to return the most. Last year I finally gave myself time to breathe the atmosphere of the city for more than one afternoon and even for more than one day. It’s been third time I got the chance to be there and this one was the best.
I really tried to enjoy my time without rush, I skipped shopping to minimum and rather spend time outside just walking through well known and unknown streets. Spring was just opening the door, and I entered 7th heaven while drinking morning coffee and eating apple pie at Starbucks terrace located in some lazy tiny street somewhere near Victoria Station. I was catching the energy from all flowers just growing in St. James’s park and all the people walking slowly around the lake, it was so electric. We absorbed old athmosphere of Portobello Road at Notting Hill while meeting old school friend walking throught the market, all the smells at Chinese market, sun and comedians at Covent Garde where time was just nothing, wind at Tower Bridge where again old and new city crossed, and fast moving Camden town where a stranger told me ”Money come and go, Life doesn’t” and he just won my heart. Before the sunset we headed to Hyde Park, and while passing slowly the groups of speakers I was smiling. Despite the fact I did not understand to some who were non english speaking, it was still pulsing, the emotions were flowing through and around my body also when getting back to the city streets right after midnight rain. I was suddenly breathing calmly and felt like the part of the city I visited first time eight years ago carrying in my hands the map I purchased, the same map I had in my pocket now.
This post may seem as not very actual to you, but it is to me. Next week I am heading to Krakow for 3 days and this London album is just giving me the right stimulation and great portion of inspiration for taking new fresh spring pictures. Visiting new places always give me the FRESH energy and through the camera objective I am getting a chance to discover new worlds again.
Here are my London Highlights that are covering the part of my soul

Yesterdays hiking workout was supposed to be a nice walk in the woods. I do not want to say that it was not, but unfortunately for me it was a fight. As I was mentioning earlier, my physical condition is at some place that will be hard to find again. This time we climbed to hill Baske (955mnm), near our village, and the way to the top took us 2hours. Even though the hill is not that high, the terrain was quite difficult, and on the way to the top we made nearly 5km. I received a lot encouragement from my boyfriend and BOY I needed it so desperately. He actually passed very difficult relationship test, because I was hassling, giving up, winning, hassling, winning again, and refusing to finish the hike several times what means like every three steps.
Overall I made like 7967steps to the top and nearly 16, 000 in total. And Yes, I made it. I was like 10-15minutes behind everybody, even behind our dog, and two retirees that passed our way. There was not any nice view because of the trees on the top, but we still made sausages in the fireplace. The taste was brilliant, and we also found another geocache.
When we got home I was not able to do anything more, just take a bath with honey cream foam and relaxing salt, realizing one and the only important fact – I need to work out much more.

It is spring. Did you notice? Oh Yes, you did.
Season of hiking is starting, finally! But to be honest, my condition from last summer is gone, it is totally killed. I was lazy, lazy, lazy. Two weeks ago we went biking and made like 20km. Shame on me, it is nothing, no big distance and I was so tired though!!! It is true we found or first cache this season during the trip, but this does not excuse me at all.
And so I made the decision, whole group of my friends did it as well. This year is going to be the year we will hike to Kriváň (2494 m). You may have noticed it is on my Bucket list as well. And since we were talking about this a lot, a lot, a lot, about two years to be honest, it was just the right time to stop and act. The cottage in Liptovsky Jan is reserved on last August weekend, and there will be 13 pioneers fighting the rocks and their own power.
However, I am afraid I get to the physical and psychical crisis during this hike, because 4 years ago when I was fighting similar hill – Chopok – 2024 m, sounds to me like ages. It is true I was in much better condition, but the thing in my head is – RESPECT. Respect to the hill, respect to my body because I want to enjoy this climb instead of torturing it and prevent giving up before I reach the top.
And that is why I have brand new pedometer!!! What do I want to do with it? Training. I will count all the steps I make during workout, and of course I will record my climb to Kriváň as well.
873 steps is just the beginning. It took me 30 minutes of walking inside the house during fast evening cleaning. Not bad.
I am happy about the decision, afraid about my will, excited to see the view.

Green Bottle – Fresh Me.
Posted March 16, 2011
on:Last month I ordered a Green Bottle, about which some of you may think it is useless waste of money. The parcel arrived three days ago and I tested it for that time before I could really say, it is just the right thing for me.
The main reason why I decided to deposit my money to this was that I do not drink enough during the day. Obviously, this can be a sign of lack of strong will and you do not need to buy a stainless steel bottle because of that. However, as I analyzed the main reason is that I cannot resist plastic bottles. They are smelly after few days of usage, it is not environmental friendly, plus they cost something. And because I do not drink sparkling water it seemed to me that buying water, considering I have filtered water at home and at work simply waste of money. Yes, I am a tap water person.
So far I drank three green bottles every day that is 2.25L a day!!!! Suddenly the drinking regime is not problem at all, I was not even thinking about it until I counted it. This is success, my FRESH success, green bottle success. And I want to tell everybody about this and for this reason I chose the design you see. GO GREEN!!!!
Green Bottle really is a green solution. Stainless steel makes it 100% consumer safe. They come in many designs, what I believe is great marketing and motivation strategy of the company. If you are interested in more information about Green Bottle go to http://www.greenbottleonline.com/ or http://greenbottleonline.sk/ where you find complete information about this product.
And if you are not a fan of such products like Green Bottle, just do me a little favor. Think for a while what is you carbon footprint you are making at this planet.
Thank you.

on:As I was not available here at the cyber space during New Year I did not give myself enough thinking about some resolutions for the upcoming 2011. I know I am not that good at keeping resolutions. I am terrible! I would rather describe myself as hope keeper for success in keeping my resolutions. The outcome is that I mostly end up with just thinking about doing something. It sad true that almost 90% of resolutions I ever set went down the drain after few months, weeks, days and some even after hours. And even those, I was able to finish were just short-term goals. WHY? Well, thousands of excuses I could use, but the true is that I am person that insist on flexibility and most of my resolutions were not flexible at all. So, this year I will try different approach and set rather whole area I would like to improve.
I had one idea in my mind for longer time but I fully realized it this Sunday when I was watching my boyfriend cleaning our aquarium. We bought some new fish, and they almost got lost in the jungle of plants. But at the end of it, he uncovered a spectacular world of colors we did not realize for weeks. GREEN, BLUE, ORANGE, SILVER, RED, NEON, YELLOW… and suddenly I knew how I want in my life to be like…
FRESH – can be anything, air, water, food, mood, colors, feelings, smells, energy, smile, thinking, walking, tasting, salad, ideas, morning….
Yes, this year is going to be FRESH. I want my senses to wake up, release stress, relax more, and get time to absorb all the positivity I can. I somehow believe this resolution may be success. It is specific enough, the goal is achievable and it is flexible. And what I believe in the most is that at the end of this journey I can open myself to be stronger and courageous enough to achieve anything I will think of.
I can basically say I want to conform 2011 to anything that is fresh – simply happiness.

Getting Back On The Track
Posted February 24, 2011
on:It’s been a while, a little while, a little bigger while since I wrote last time. I went through a lot of things couple of last months. Now I am trying to figure out where was the point when I stopped writing and mostly why, when I LOVE IT SO MUCH. Let me now take you through my failures and successes during last 6 months.
Was it when I spilled coffee on my notebook? Was I totally done when I it was done and was sent to computer heaven? Broken?
Or was it when my red dragon, my four wheel friend got stacked in the middle of the morning traffic on my way to work on last August Tuesday? Broken – part deux? Luckily, I did not admit to send it to the car heaven. Success!
And as the problems were coming and leaving and cycling all along my way, and I went through changing the job and moving, suddenly two seasons passed.
I moved my life from beautiful fall…
…to frozing winter…..
I successfully finished one of my goals from my Bucket list. Handmade Christmas greetings for my friends and finally my first Sviečková …and I did both really really my way.
Christmas were peaceful….
…and I even tried to get my last year Christmas Poinsettia red again. Despite the fact, I did all I could it did turn to be like this on Christmas Eve, but rather on Valentine’s Day. And thus there is another hope. Will it get totally red by the first day of spring?
It is now time to open my inner world to the world again. It is hard to get on back on the track, but it is wonderful when you get there.

Summer Nostalgia
Posted August 23, 2010
on:It is so sad to be true. But it is. Was I ever at vacation? Is the summer almost over? Is it? Really?
No not for me… remember there still has to be something about any season that you must love even the endings, the last summer sunbeams, the smells, the light in the garden…
These are my expressions of almost finished summer that I love the same way as the beginning, and the middle because it is still SUMMER!!!
Do not give up guys and catch your last chance always.

It is geocaching thing
Posted August 23, 2010
on:Last year we started to be pretty active in this geo game. If anyone is not familiar with the term you can check www.geocaching.com or www.geocahching.sk. I am not going to review things that were said so many times, and certainly you get better clue about the game there than by my crazy explanation. Just in short, based on the given longitudes you are seeking a cache – box that is hidden by its owner somewhere outside. You use your GPS to get to the right place and when you find the cache you log in as a finder. It is awesome way how to make your trips even more interesting.
So this geo thing took me to the places even in my neighborhood that I did not know they existed, places that I otherwise I would have no reason to visit, places I would not consider important to go or took me hiking so high I would never believe I can make it! …hills, rivers, meadows, churches, castles, caves… there are hidden caches all over the world. It takes time to study the GPS longitudes and listing of the certain place, prepare equipment, and at the end there is a reward for it.
Since I am sick this week and since there was too much to do this summer we did not have much time to go for hunt this season. But last weekend we decided to go. To be honest, we usually first pick up the place where we want to go, and as a second we check if there are any caches around. There are many times. We do not always find all, but this is not the reason why we do it. It is to stay outside, have some fun and experience unordinary places. Well the cave we went last time was a mess really, spiders, smell, you would have to get in on your belly…Oh I refused to put my life on behalf of some box. Maybe later, or rather never.
I’ll get deeper into this game in some of my future posts but just to make you really curious see some pictures below to get clue what the hell I am talking about.
